Since 1757, the hotel at the corner of today’s Old Bethlehem Pike and Ridge Road has been called ‘The White Horse Hotel’.

With new ownership taking over in 2005, the property was christened ‘The Horse Tavern and Grill’. With a bit of public-relations savvy, new owner David Adelsberger said, ” ‘The Horse,’ it’s catchier.”

Adelsberger, along with partner Mike Carey, preserved the best of the old menu (from previous proprietor, Bill Warren) and added new items such as gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches and new platters.

Open Daily at 11am – 2am
Kitchen Open Sunday – Wednesday until 10pm; Thursday – Saturday until 11pm.
